OUR TEAM

John Hunsucker is the founder of Property Tax Consulting, LLC. John began his career in the property tax industry in 1986 with the Atlanta based firm Easley, McCaleb, & Stallings. In 1988, John and Bill Boden started their own firm, Real Tax Resources. John and Bill worked together until the early 2000’s when Bill left the firm to spend more time with his family. Over the years, John has secured billions in tax savings for clients. A University of West Georgia graduate with a BBA, John leads the Atlanta-based team with decades of expertise. When he's not working, you might find him hunting in Kansas or fishing in Australia. 

John Hunsucker

Lindsey is a seasoned trial attorney who specializes in property tax appeals. She earned her undergraduate degree from Oglethorpe University and her Juris Doctor from Georgia State University, College of Law. Lindsey is licensed to practice law in Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. Over the years, Lindsey has worked as an attorney with the law firm Frank X. Moore & Associates and Hillis, Robison & Coffelt. After years of leading cases in various phases of litigation, from initial pleadings through appellate practice, Lindsey moved to open her firm, The Hillis Firm. In 2019, Lindsey partnered with John Hunsucker to provide property tax consulting services to taxpayers across the Southeast. Since 2019, PTC has reduced property valuations by more than $9,000,000,000 for its clients.

Erica H. Peden is a licensed attorney who specializes in ad valorem tax appeals. She earned her undergraduate degree in Real Estate from The University of Georgia and Juris Doctor from The University of Mississippi where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and served as Executive Articles Editor of the Mississippi Law Journal. Her publication, The Property Tax Crisis, was published by Supra in 2012. Erica received the American Jurisprudence award for her academic achievements in Constitutional Law, Individual Income Taxation, Federal Estate and Gift Taxation, and Federal Trial Practice. As John’s daughter, Erica grew up in the property tax industry. Throughout college and law school, she interned with PTC before joining the firm full time.

Erica H. Peden

Travis joined PTC in 2020, bringing 12 years of expertise in technology sales and a strategic, client-focused approach to tax consulting. A Furman University graduate with a background in Psychology and Political Science, Travis applies his analytical skills and extensive negotiation experience to achieve favorable outcomes for clients. An Atlanta native, he lives in the Kirkwood neighborhood with his three daughters. Outside of work, Travis enjoys staying active, whether he's cycling, mountain biking, or spending time with his family.

Travis Adle

Mark holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama. Additionally, he earned a Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law and completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School. Mark’s diverse career has included serving as a director of security for data security consulting and a cloud computing compliance specialist at Oracle, a privacy director at Amazon, and director of privacy at Protiviti. Following a successful technology career, Mark transitioned to PTC, inspired to join his longtime friend and law school classmate, Lindsey Hillis, in her and John Hunsucker’s leading property tax firm.

Originally from Clarksville, TN, Middle Tennessee State University graduate Chase has been with PTC for six years, working closely with John Hunsucker to build cases and foster client relationships.

Chase Sandefur

Since joining PTC in August 2021, Candace has brought a blend of skills to her roles in accounts receivable and paralegal. A graduate of Florida State University, her career path has spanned entertainment, public relations, and event production for prestigious shows like New York, Paris, and London Fashion Week. Candace is currently attending law school at Georgia State University College of Law and looks forward to contributing to PTC as a lawyer in 2027.

Candace Cottet


Alicia is a graduate of Georgia State University, where she obtained a BBA in Communications and a minor in Film. Alicia brings 20 years of Operational and C-Suite Administrative experience after working for high level administration at the Georgia Institute of Technology. At Tech, not only did she support some of the most dynamic and innovative leaders in the College of Computing, but she also provided project management for several initiatives, supported 100’s of stakeholder visits, and hosted world recognized leaders. Directly out of college, Alicia managed performance tours for seven years. However, she finds her current role as Executive Assistant and manager of the two office golden doodles to be one of her most rewarding careers ever.

Amy brings over a decade of expertise from her time at CareerBuilder, where she started as a Deployment and Test Administrator before transitioning to Agile Project Manager. She holds a Bachelor’s in Information Technology from the University of Georgia and American Intercontinental University. Based in Atlanta, Amy shares her home with her husband and cats. A movie and TV buff, musical theater lover, and live music enthusiast, she’s always up for discovering new shows and performances.


Amy McCoy


Tiffani serves as our receptionist and assistant to Travis Adle, bringing a versatile background from Northwestern Technical College and Chattanooga State Community College. Tiffany has honed skills in Accounting and Cosmetology. A former company ballerina with the Civic Ballet of Chattanooga, TN, Tiffani balances her professional life with dedication as a mother and wife. She’s also a lover of dogs and an avid sports fan.

Ashley has dual expertise in marketing and early childhood education, holding a BBA in Marketing from the University of West Georgia and a BS in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys time with her two Yorkies, Alli and Bama, who keep her on her toes with their playful personalities.

Alex is currently attending Kennesaw State University, where she’s on track to complete her B.A. in May 2025. With plans to enter law school in the fall, Alex is excited to build on her academic achievements and begin her journey toward a career in law.
